Welcome to Writing, Stuff and Nonsense:  Blogging fun with me!!! Anne Marie!!! This should prove interesting as I'm infamous for lurking on writers' loops, blogs, even my email.  I have great plans to keep new stuff revolving on my blog at least once or twice a week, hopefully more often than that.  The danger for me is that I might become so immersed in this novelty of blogging that I will neglect my actual writing.  I cannot let that happen.  We shall see...

So, what kind of stuff shall I include on my blog?  Writing Stuff, obviously.  Contests, of course.  And guest bloggers, too.  I also want stuff that I find interesting and fun (that's the nonsense part).  I'd like to share photos, because when I visit websites and blogs, I love to look at the pictures.  They draw me in and help me become acquainted with the author.  And as they say:  "A picture's worth a thousand words!"  I know, I know.  It's a cliche, but so true.

Other things I plan to include... Since I'm a card-carrying tightwad, I'm going to have frugal tips to help us through these difficult economic times.  My husband and I embrace simple living, so I'll include tips on that, as well as on living green.  I love antiques and second-hand stuff, so I'll be sharing stories about different pieces that I've acquired.  Almost every piece of furniture in my house has a story. It makes life interesting.
